A very full room for this, the third of the lectures held in the Woodhead Hall this Autumn. Another series is planned.
The Tea & Cake Wednesday afternoon group on a personal tour of the museum.
They had a well attended Christmas Party with a quiz and festive entertainment.
The Christmas Fair on 21st November was a great success with over 650 people coming to browse the stalls, enjoy the Christmas music by the Accordian & Concertina Band, talk to five local authors and sample the refreshments. Father Christmas arrived in his splendid Classic Car. He was joined by the drivers of two other Classic Cars.

- A Frugal cake using ingredients from 2nd World War
- Celebrate music in Huddersfield
- An insect (for up to 12 year olds)

Please bring your cake with an entry form. Also required is list of ingredients and the method used to create your cake.

Oral History
As part of the Heritage Memorial Garden project ‘Friends’ are collecting memories of living in Huddersfield during wartime and memories of service in conflicts since 1945. We already have some really good memories but are still after more. Could you or members of your family contribute? We don’t want to lose our experiences of wartime.
