The Tea & Cake meetings grow in popularity.
Over the last year subjects at meetings have included:
- Writing a book by a local author
- The story of the WW1 Exhibition
- Seaside memories, and
- A good read for your holiday.
We have also had a session of exercises while you sit and at another meeting an introductory tour of the Museum.
At our Easter meeting bonnets were brought and decorated. At the last meeting everyone was encouraged to bring along a poem to read. The meeting started with a reading of the poem ‘Joyce the librarian’ which amused us all. Both serious and funny poems were brought and discussed.
