Tolson Museum in Huddersfield will be full of Christmas spirit – and ideas – on Sunday, 23 November, when it hosts the Friends of Tolson and Ravensknowle’s annual Christmas Fair, 11am-4pm.

The Friends group will be filling the museum on Wakefield Road, with stalls bursting with crafts, gifts and sweet things for Christmas. There will also be musical entertainment, refreshments and, from 1.30pm, children will be able to visit Father Christmas.

In addition, book-lovers will have the chance to meet and buy the books of local authors John Rumsby, Cyril Pearce, Marta Cardona, Julie Houston and Betty Woodcock.

Admission to the museum and the Christmas Fair is free; however, there will be a small charge for visiting Father Christmas.
